HEALTHY HOMES INSPECTION SERVICE
WHAT’S INCLUDED?
Our Healthy Homes inspections are detailed, professional assessments carried out by Licensed Building Practitioners who understand both the construction and compliance sides of residential property. We assess each key area of the Healthy Homes Standards, giving you a clear view of where your property stands, and what, if anything, needs to be addressed.
Here’s what we assess as part of your Healthy Homes report:
Heating – is there a fixed heating source in the main living area that meets the minimum requirements?
Insulation – check for ceiling and underfloor insulation and ensure it meets the correct R-values.
Ventilation – ensure the home has openable windows in key areas and extraction fans in kitchens and bathrooms.
Moisture Ingress and Drainage – assess whether the property has effective drainage, downpipes, and ground moisture barriers.
Draught Stopping – identify any unreasonable draughts around windows, doors, floors, and chimneys.
You’ll receive a full written report with photos, plain- English commentary, and a breakdown of which standards are compliant or non-compliant, along with practical recommendations to bring the property up to spec where needed.
