The reason being, our reports are SO thorough they take time to inspect onsite, and to make sure there is nothing missed, our team need a clear run with as few interruptions as possible. Once a report is written, we cannot remove anything out of it. However, what we can do is make additions to the report, clarifying if remedial works have been completed or not. It is also a great idea to provide the receipts for the works completed along with the original building report to show potential buyers you have made the home top notch for them.

We can absolutely change the name on a report if the original report was requested by the owner of the home. Once we have written permission from the owner, we can arrange for the report to be reissued into the buyer's name. This is a GREAT option if you are selling your home at auction.

In short – no. Asbestos testing is an invasive test and must be done by a qualified professional. However, we will let you know any areas of the home that COULD have asbestos, so you know if you should have the house tested further or not. Bear in mind asbestos can show up in all sorts of places, so advising visually is not an exact science however we will spot most of its hidey holes!
